The Town

Set in the Kingdom of Fife and on the shores of the North Sea, St. Andrews is a town steeped in history. From it's majestic cathedral, to centuries of academic discoveries, and the rich history and continued infatuation with golf, St. Andrews continues to charm visitors.

Golfers come for the dozens of golf courses that challenge players with the unique links courses and ever-changing challenges of the Scottish weather.  The original Old Course is still a public course and open to all to walk along and across the birthplace of golf and oldest course in the world.

Even if you don't golf, the town and locals are welcoming to all visitors. Enjoy the friendly pubs, varied restaurants, and many quaint shops as you walk the cobbled streets.
